A playful blend of her sire Smoke's directness and her mum Blanche's sweet, always agreeable nature.

Gertie was the "Sergeant at Arms" for the Saltmeadow and Maxwell Street Labradors. 
She ran a "tight ship"! 

In her retirement days, the pack took impeccable care of her and revered
her for the faithful watch she had kept.  

She is missed by all and her equal will never be found.
